  Bad experience here. Salesperson had no clue on the features and benefits of a microwave we bought. It was a frigidare and a built in one at that. When we received it and had it installed, we discovered you could not run the timer and the microwave at the same time! When we called Mike's, they had no clue. Called Frigidare and they said yes that was the case with this microwave. I have bought probably 10 microwaves in my life and all have had the feature where you could run the timer independent of the microwave. When I told Mike's, they said I could buy a different one but they would have to charge me another installation and delivery charge. Needless to say, we will not be going back there and will never recommend them to any of our friends.

  Have got a faulty stove and washer from them through Property Management. My son said that our old washer just needed a simple repair. They insisted that we had to get another one. The washer they gave us has extremely poor functionality. And the thing had broke down on us FOUR times in a year. In total, we have gone three weeks w/o use of a washer. The will not give us another washer. I think they wanted my old one for themselves. And tonight, did an oven clean on the stove since we got this cold blast. The damn oven lock busted and when I pulled on the stove handle, oven came forward and knock over a shelf with plants and created a HUGE mess. They know the product is bad going out their door, why do they not correct this?

  Mike's has a good selection of appliances and knowledgeable sales people that know the stock and can help you choose something that works for your needs. On site service department is helpful and does good work, but may need to order in parts for some problems. Much better alternative than the big boxes.
